Our DBA and I had to go to Lajes to fix a server. We ended up finishing a little early and were fortunate enough to get to see the island. To locate the azores on a world map, find Spain, find New York, and put your finger in the middle of the ocean between them. It was a beautiful place. Lisa didn't tag along (she should have) but she is hoping the server goes down again :).
