Ye olde London Town

Sara and Craig White were kind enough to come and visit us. I had some work to do outside of London so I didn't get to spend the whole time with them but Lisa did. Enjoy! Posted by Picasa

Traditional English Breakfast

This is a traditional English breakfast. The only thing I am not a big fan of is the sausage. But, then again, I have never been a sausage snob. Posted by Picasa

Changing of the Guard

Here are Sara and Craig at the changing of the guard at Buckingham palace. They are not in the slammer, as it first appears. Posted by Picasa

The right place

This looks like a good place to get pooped on by a bird. Posted by Picasa

Covent Garden

Of Eliza Dolittle fame. Posted by Picasa

Torture Museum

I'm sure the people who were actually tortured weren't having as much fun. Posted by Picasa

Dentist Visit

Going to the dentist in those days was no different. Posted by Picasa

Globe Theatre

Here are Craig and Sara in the famous Globe Theatre. I think one of Shakespeare's greatest comemdies is that you have to pay to go in, even though there is not a play going on. Posted by Picasa

Chocolate Fix

In the tube they have chocolate machines so that you can "get your fix". None of them wore working when we were there unfortunately. Domestic violence was up 10%. Posted by Picasa

Warning!

You see and hear this phrase a lot in London. It means "Don't fall in the hole between the train and the platform." But that would take too long to say. Posted by Picasa

One Glove Theme

There was an ongoing theme to the trip, we kept finding single glove's everywhere. It was much like having one sock when you get done with the laundry, except these were gloves and we found them on the street. I think we were on Michael Jackson's trail. Posted by Picasa
