Jan and Marla with the Venus de Milo. She didn't say much besides "Where are my arms?" and "Give me a robe please."
Lisa in front of the Eiffel tower at night. Soon after this picture was taken, she was hit in the face with a pie.
The Eiffel Tower at night. Lisa and I went down for the real Paris after dark. We also picked up two for one fiber optic crystal eiffel tower desk monuments.
Gold spikey thing on top of the Opera in Paris. I don't know what the significance is. I just think it's a good picture of a shiny object.
Galeries Layfayette. This is not the Layfayette that is a suburb of Nashville. This is the "Macy's" of Paris, with much goodness to be had.
A window display in Paris. I don't know if they're selling balls or dresses.
I looked up and saw this after eating a special "mushroom" dish in France. In real life this is a Christmas light display.
A toy display that we saw while we were shopping. I got hypnotized and separated from the crowd.
Marla Phillips in front of a pharmacy. There doesn't appear to be a front door on this pharmacy, which is why America is so much better than France.
John Owen is facinated with switches. He turned the lights on and off about a hundred times. It was like watching a movie in slow motion in the cabin.
Lisa and John Owen. This picture was made on the train ride back from Paris. Notice the "zombie" look on his face.
Me getting the "tickie tickie tickie" from John Owen. It is the sound he makes when he tickles you.

Blues Traveler in concert! Free!
The encore!
He played "the Devil went down to Georgia" on his harmonica and you couldn't tell the difference between it and the original. It was amazing.
John Popper jamming out.
"I said, 'Man it's loud in here!'"
Some of the Air Force band playing with Blues Traveler.
Me getting John Popper's autograph. The whole band was very nice. He threw his harmonica into the audience after the show, which I thought was very unsanitary.
The Patriot Cheerleaders signing an autograph for Nelson.
Me and the New England Patriot cheerleaders. They were getting my autograph.
I gotta get a better dandruff shampoo.
Lisa in the freezing fog.
The fog was freezing when we left the concert.
Frozen evergreens. This is neat when you're not out in it.
Frozen trees.
This is on top of the hill behind our house. We go driving there every now and then.
This is a frozen tree. I touched it but it's bark was worse than it's frostbite!
Me in my new UT sweatshirt. I can also not be shot by hunters now.
Me in my Christmas stuff from my parents. Lisa said I look like a middle aged country music fan.
Our tree. My parents sent me some American flags so I stuck them in there. Don't want anybody mistaking it for a tannenbaum or anything.
John Owen's jailbreak! Check out the German hat disguise and the innocent look.
This is way more than I got in my stocking.
This is security escorting Lisa from the premises.
26. That is the number of legal pads I got, wrote on the first page of, and then stuck in a drawer. This is kind of a shrine/memorial that EnSafe keeps around.
Kevin and Fardosht going through Mickey's desk while he's not there.
Lisa also got to go by EnSafe. It seem's people still gather in my office and hang around my chair.
My mom with her new windmill thingy (my terminology). The candles make hot air and turn the turbine and it makes other things turn. Not very efficient but neat to look at.
Jared with a talking Schreck and Danya with Karsten's new "dressy jumper" (Lisa's terminology).
My dad in his new hat with his new nutcracker which we have since discovered also opens bottles.
Michael and his new german sweater. Lisa said everyone liked them.
I never thought jackets were this fun when I was a kid.
Karsten in his German hat and getting German finger puppets. That's the good thing about germany, whatever you buy, it's german.
Odom family sans moi. I have a good representitive though.
Of all the things that Karsten got, he enjoyed candy canes the most. I hope that isn't the candy cane that's been around since I was a kid.
The only picture of the Hensley family in the roll. Jan, if Lisa needed a piece of gum that bad, you should have offered her one.
Looks like Charlie Beth is ready to go!
This is a picture of Lisa distracting Grayson where that Lisa can have the last roll.
She had alot of takers for her trip to Erwin's. It seems that the William's were having to hold up the wisecracking standard while I'm not there.
The first series of pictures on this blog update are from Lisa's trip home where she got to do all the stuff that I wanted to do, like go to Erwin's Steaks.
