This is your captain speaking

This is the captain and the half a dozen or so individuals who kept us from plummeting to the bottom of the ocean. Posted by Picasa

Towel Animals

A big thing aboard the ship was your steward coming into your room while you're not there and twisting your linens into animal shapes. This assumes two things: 1) I don't mind a stranger coming into my room when I'm not there; and 2) that I have experience washing myself with a washcloth in the shape of a rabbit. I did much appreciate the chocolates on my pillow though....and lisa's. Posted by Picasa

Ah Venice!

Lisa and I were fortunate enought to get to take a cruise in August. It was a lot of fun. There were many pictures taken so I am going to break them up by port. The first installment, Venice Italy. Posted by Picasa

Love and Marriage

My cousin Matt got married over the weekend. The great thing about being married is really knowing how to push somebody's buttons. Posted by Picasa

My Feet in Famous Places

In the "my feet in famous places" series, here are my feet in Venice, Italy. This was taken while we were lost. I found a place to lean while Lisa hacked together enough italian to either ask directions or get some spaghetti. Posted by Picasa

Gondola Ride

We took a ride in a Gondola. Gondola is Italian for "small boat that is about to capsize". Posted by Picasa

St. Mark's Church

Nice view of St. Marks from the Grand Canal. Posted by Picasa

Leaving Venice on a Jet Plane (or cruise boat)

This is a view of Venice's "Grand Canal" (literally, "big canal") as we were leaving out of port. Overall I was impressed with Venice, and not just for their (venetian) blind production. Posted by Picasa
