Likely Story

Just before Christmas, I was able to go back to the states for a week or so. This is me checking in with the "boss".

Ollie on the town

As part of the Christmas celebration, often we are able to go out and eat with friends. This was Ollie's first chance to wear the faux tuxedo/bib.  Next time, we'll write about our trip to France over Christmas break.  Things you have to look forward to: French people on horses, assorted animal livers, and beacoups of cheese.

Please stop taking pictures of me

After being born, Ollie continues to change. These are just a sampling of the thousands of pictures that have been taken of him during the past few weeks. We've taken more pictures of Ollie than we took of water on our cruise. I didn' t think that it was possible.

Lamb Thief

Is it me, or does that lamb look like he's trying to steal Ollie's wallet without him waking up? Maybe he's the black sheep.

First day at work

Ollie came to work to visit daddy. I was disappointed because I didn't have anything cool like a tractor or jackhammer at my job. Only a keyboard and a mouse.

Elvis Baby

We thought he looked like Elvis in this outfit. This was after his first bath. Well, he does have one adoring female fan there.

Large head or tiny baby?

You decide.

Big Hands

This is not an especially flattering picture but it gives you a good look at his hands. Definately not square.

Hand Grenade

It's like pulling the pin on a hand grenade.

Ollie has officially submitted his US Passport papers. Up until then, he was just a litte German baby. He freaked out a little when he realized it wasn't going to be back until the 28 of December.

Two of a kind

I knew an "L" shaped couch would be good for something.

Dramatic Face

This is Ollie's face after watching a dramatic turn of events during a football game.

First Church Visit

This is Ollie and Lisa at our church. This was his first church visit. He slept through the whole thing, like a good Tennessee Baptist.

Lisa Tres Pregnant

This is Lisa about 8 months pregnant, or Schwanger, as they say here. This is the story of the birth of Robert Oliver Odom, who was born October 21, 2008 in Germany. Right now he's still German till we can get the paperwork sorted out. This blog is mostly about our travels but the journey of Oliver, or Baby O, down the birth canal is the greatest journey we've experienced. Enjoy!
